Static/Jitter

Try moving wires away from the handset and base. Distortion may be caused by LAN congestion or be a handset issue. First try changing VoIP handsets or test it with a regular handset. A hollow voice may also be a handset issue, or it could be a problem with the line. To confirm the issue, try switching handsets before you contact your provider.

Dropped Call


A dropped call is usually the result of excess packet loss. The best solution is to place the VoIP call again. If you can't complete the call, confirm that your internet access is active and functioning properly.
